Guy Rubino

Guy Rubino is a Canadian chef and host of the Food Network Canada show ''Made to Order''. He is formerly the executive chef and co-owner of ''Rain'', a fine dining restaurant in Toronto, Canada. Rain was closed, and re-opened with a new concept (traditional Japanese vs. Rain's fusion) called Ame (Japanese for Rain) in June 2009. Ame closed in August 2011.
Raised at the heart of a traditional Italian family in St. Catharines, Rubino developed a passion for food. He currently lives in Toronto.
==Career==
Guy and his brother Michael's first fine dining restaurant was called Zoom. The Latin/Asian inspired menu instantly caught the interest of Toronto's fine dining scene. Soon After the brothers opened Rain in Toronto's entertainment district which spawned even larger national and international accolades. Rain's menu was Asian inspired and drew specifically from China and Japan. After Rain's 7th year the brothers then opened Luce (meaning "light" in Italian ) in the Le Germain Hotel directly across the street from Rain. Luce focused on Regional Italian cuisine and like Rain was featured on their international hit TV series Made To Order several times. Since then the brothers have added Ame and Strada to their roster of restaurants.
